Stage 2


In 2009 Menai Primary School has two Stage Two classes.

  • Waratah is taught by Mrs Messiter and Ms Ullrich

  • Kangaroo Paw is taught by Mrs Leslie

All classes have graded groups within the classroom which help cater for the needs and learning speed of the students.

In-class groupings will be formed for Reading and Spelling instruction.

English

In English (Term 2 ) we will focus on reports and recounts.

On Monday afternoons the children from 3-6 will be involved in CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) groups which include drama, art and music activities. These multi-age groups will rotate to a new activity every four weeks. During these times the school choir are conducting sessions.
